Echoes In Proximity Official

Echoes in Proximity is an album & project of original music by Mexico City based composer/

producer Juan Cristóbal Pérez Grobet (Bass), and New York City based composer/

producer Carlo Nicolau (Violin), accompanied by guest musicians on piano, drums and percussion.

This bi national collaboration was recorded/produced in both cities, between July 2020 and

September 2021. Upright Bass, Electric Bass, violins, blend

seamlessly throughout the album’s 14 compositions, giving birth to unique organic musical

ideas turned into landscapes, that range from ambient to jazz, to a timeless eclectic array

of unified melodies and harmonic structures.
